The integration is not offered as a login or publishing service to third parties. Pinterest OAuth credentials and access tokens are used only to authorise the site's own publishing workflow. Operational identifiers such as Pinterest board IDs and Pin IDs may be stored so the automation can publish to the correct board and avoid duplicate Pins. These credentials and identifiers are not sold or used to build advertising profiles of website visitors.
How information is used
Information processed in connection with the website is used only for legitimate operational purposes such as providing pages and videos, measuring site performance, maintaining security, preventing abuse, improving navigation and content, and operating the site's own social-media publishing tools.
