About Brick Instructions For You
Brick Instructions For You is an independent LEGO building-instructions website run by Paul Critchlow. Paul created the site to make it easier for builders to find a set by its number, name, theme or release year and then follow a clear video guide.
Experience behind the site
Paul has built and maintained a growing catalogue of LEGO instruction videos and set pages covering current releases, older sets, promotional models and magazine gifts. The website currently links builders to 3,074 published instruction pages with videos, alongside clearly labelled upcoming pages for known sets whose guides are not yet available.
How the guides are produced
Set information is organised from reliable catalogue data and publicly available LEGO product information. Each instruction page combines Paul’s published video guide with verified facts such as the set number, theme, year, piece count, release details and related sets when that information is available. Automated checks remove unsupported categories, prevent duplicate set pages and keep old URLs pointing to the current page.
The videos present the building sequence in an easy-to-follow format. Viewers can pause, replay and move through the build at their own pace. Where a set contains multiple instruction books, the site keeps the related videos together on one set page.
Accuracy and corrections
No difficulty rating, designer note, piece count or product feature is added unless it is supported by the available source data. If information is incomplete, the page shows only the facts currently known. Visitors who spot an incorrect set name, video or detail can contact Paul through the channel or social links below.
